Great communication, beautiful setting, good WiFi and lovely space. I wish I could have stayed more than 1 night because it was so amazing. It was a hidden gem in the mountains, quiet and great views. My little girl and my two little fur babies had the best stay at this little cabin. The place is beautiful and more then I expected. Everything was just perfect.

The view is breath taking. The horses were friendly for the most part. One of them did bite. So be careful with them but they were fun to watch and for the most part very friendly. I cant even thank you enough for this wonderful stay in your cabin.

Highly recommend the stay here. We loved the pond and were there most of the day every day. Cabin is very clean with everything you need to getaway deep into the heart of the Crazy Mountains. This cabin, its location and its hosts are fabulous! The cabin is on the hosts property but very secluded and private.

Beautiful trails, private access to the Shields River and an awesome stocked pond are within a minutes walk. The cabin is charming, clean and has everything you need to cook and relax. It was the perfect end to our week-long road trip through Montana! This homey cabin is the perfect place for a lone traveler, a couple, or even a family.

Awesome decor, a homey feel, and all the amenities of every day living. Beautiful place- I recommend it to all! A most charming rustic a-frame cottage in the Little Belt Mountains of Montana. Lovely deck for guests to gather to eat and drink. Very quiet and relaxing. Really thoughtful and creative presentation of amenities. There are a lot of recreatiional opportunities all around. The cabin is on the main road through town and does have very immediate neighbors. Great, cozy, clean getaway.

Well appointed with amenities. Rustic cabin, close to many outdoor activities. It was cosy, comfortable and a great retreat from the hassles of modern day life.

Celesta was prompt to respond to inquiries and made us feel welcome. This cabin is super easy to find, and it sits in a beautiful forest! We went there for our honeymoon and loved being able to get away without any service or wifi. We ended up having to drive to Great Falls which is about an hour away to get a bunch of groceries, because they have tons of stores there and there isn't anything really in Neihart.

There is a little convenience store across from the cabin, and it has a lot of stuff, but a lot of the food items we went to buy were expired - so make sure to check for that! The cabin was clean and had just about everything that we needed! We made a fire in the back, went on tons of hikes, watched some DVD's they had in the cabinet, and read a book we brought from start to finish.

The neighbors on the North side are really really close, to your cabin, so be prepared for that. They aren't there all of the time though so that didn't bug us too bad. It gets really really warm in the cabin from about 3: So make sure you plan for that too. There is a fan in the mud room that helped a lot during those hotter hours. Neihart is a unique little town that was a fun vacation spot. The location was excellent. The cabin is super cute, clean and well resourced. There was everything we needed and more!

We loved sitting on the deck watching the world go by. Thank you for sharing this lovely little hideaway. She went above and beyond what we expected! The house was very clean and very welcoming. I would defiantly recommend her to anyone. We will defiantly be staying here again.

Leslie was an incredible host. She gave us fresh greens, goat milk, bread, quiche, granola, and yogurt for our stay on top of an incredible selection of fresh spices and a well stocked kitchen. The house was very comfortable and the location is hard to beat. Highly recommended if you're looking for an escape from the daily grind!

Root to Rise Gardens is the perfect getaway! Leslie is a wonderful host and so friendly. The view is incredible! Windows all around the house provide stunning views of the gardens and mountains that surround the property.

On top of all that, Leslie provides lots of food from the garden, as well as other goods like rice and pasta. The fridge is also stocked with things like butter, yogurt, fresh bread, beer and wine. The house is also just twenty minutes away from downtown Wilsall if you're looking to go to a restaurant or get an espresso. We loved our stay! Leslie's place is perfect for those who want to get away from it all. It's pretty close by car to Livingston and Bozeman and the ski area but far enough out that you don't feel like you are even near a road!

We just loved going out on the porch and looking at the scenary. You can even hear coyotees in the evenings. Leslie was the perfect host and she's a great cook too! We had fennel goat cheese quiche, zucchini bread, a loaf of multrigrain, as well as farm-fresh eggs and salad greens! Thank you for hosting our family and our dog! We will always remember our stay here! The place was clean and anyone looking for an authentic mountain getaway should book here. You will be so glad you did!

If you are looking for a place to get away from it all, then look no further. Nestled in a valley, surrounded by mountains, the view itself makes this a great place to stay. In addition to running the house, Leslie, the host also operates a small farm. She provided us with a lovely banana rhubarb bread and a delicious quiche, as well as fresh eggs from the chickens she raises, and fresh greens from the garden. What a nice, and unexpected touch. The house is large, and airy, with windows everywhere to take advantage of the view.

Very clean, and super comfy, things tend to be simple, but very functional. Our only complaint is that we did not spend enough time there. This beautiful home was a bit off the beaten path which is what we were looking for. Very comfortable for our family. If you hate a secluded retreat in a beautiful setting with a wonderful host, stay away.

The house is beautiful with wonderful vistas. The house is thoughtfully supplied with some staples and many extras that challenges any chef's kitchen.

We had a great, too short stay. Nice property and great accommodations. Great opportunity to unplug from technology with no cell service or WIFI. Great location especially for those who want to fish as it is right on a river. Lots of room with three private bedrooms. Hope to stay again during the winter ski season! My boyfriend and I stayed here during a long road trip around the United States, and by far this was our favorite experience! The scenery was beautiful, the house was wonderful and our hosts extremely communicative, helpful and kind.

We couldn't have imagined a better place to stay and definitely plan on going back! Will recommend to everyone we know. Sarah's Cabin was the ultimate airbnb experience. It was unique and secluded, everything was clean and well prepared for our arrival and Sarah was extremely communicative. Sarah was incredibly accommodating and understanding.

We had some scheduling conflicts, but she helped us to figure it out and my wife, baby and I had a wonderful stay. We can't wait to come back and run around the hills again. The Sawmill Canyon was a great stop for me, my fiance, and our dog on our move cross-country from Boston to Washington state.

It's very remote and the view of somewhat desolate but beautiful hills goes on for days. Unlike other guests, we did see several trucks and cars making their way up the driveway to, I think, the Horses N Courage campsite that is also on the same acreage.

However, it was only from a distance and not at all an intrusion. The cabin was very cozy and we used the cast iron stove at night when it got chilly. The outhouse was probably the most clean outhouse we have ever used. The Sawmill Canyon cabin is one of the most peaceful places I've ever stayed.

Loudest noises you'll hear is cows miles off in the distance. The cabin is clean, well kept, and has anything you'd possibly need.

The view is out of this world. All you see is hills and sky for miles. This is the perfect place if you want to completely unwind and be totally relaxed. Would definitely stay again! Staying one night at the Sawmill Canyon Cabin added just one hour to our overall trip and was totally worth it. The cabin had everything you need for one night stay.

Around sunset we walked up behind the cabin to the top of the hill and enjoyed the amazing views - all to ourselves! We did bring our little 8-year-old Boston terrier dog, who loved having free range of the yard and lots of fresh air. One of the best stops on our road trip and we felt like we had a really nice experience of Montana. Thank you Sarah and Kent! This place is magic!! Go and be free. As it appears - a cozy, quaint cabin, very secluded. The inside is lovingly tasteful, and new feeling.

We had the most wonderful recharge time here - reading, cooking, exploring nearby Castle Town "ghost town ruins. No electricity no plugging in or charging. Buy groceries in advance Livingston for us , including any condiments oil, hot sauce, et and charge your Kindle and laptop if writing! Amazing little cabin on a beautiful big spread of land in the middle of rural Montana. Totally off the grid and a wonderful place to get away from it all.

Climb up the surrounding hills and enjoy the view and the wild mountain flowers! The communications from Diane prior to my arrival were warm and welcoming as was the greetings and introduction to the cabin and the surrounding areas I received from both Diane and Ed upon my arrival. They are willing to be available to guests, but go out of their way to respect their privacy if that's what you desire.

The location was great as a complete get-away from hectic life with a tree-house like deck, great views and good hiking trails nearby. The hosts are both artists so the cabin itself is beautifully and tastefully appointed, with a large and varied music collection, books to read, and fantastic art magazines to pour over.

This cabin is the perfect place for reading, writing, and relaxing. Great place to stay and relax, not too far from Bozeman, and a lot of great hiking trails around the area. Sallys place is absolutely beautiful. We saw double rainbows our first night there. It is VERY spacious and very clean. It had so much more than we imagined it to have. The only draw back was how far it was to all activities and stores close very early.

It is a very small town and everything is a drive from the home. If you want peace and quiet and hiking this is your place. If you want to do many activities with the family its worth it if you do not mind driving. We would definitely stay and recommend this home. Sally has responded to all our inquiries even after we checked out. Thank you so much for offering your beautiful mountain home to us for the week.

It was the perfect gathering place for family from all around the country. The house was in excellent condition, well stocked, and extremely comfortable. We would recommend this home to any family hoping to get away and rest.

It was not too far from Yellowstone, fairy lake, and Bozeman! We made many memories. We loved this place! Wonderful place to relax without any distractions. The view off of the back patio is truly stunning. It seems like you can see forever across the beautiful Montana landscape. You do need to remember that you are in rural Montana.

There aren't a lot of restaurants and shops nearby although the restaurants that do exist in the nearby towns are great. And the internet is slow. And little-to-no cell service. For us, that was perfect. The location is secluded, but still convenient to Bozeman and all the surrounding activities -- hiking, biking, fishing, skiing, etc. To top it all off, Sally was an amazing host! She was always very responsive and flexible.

We are delighted that we found this place!! Beautiful secluded home with beautiful views! The bedrooms were well-equipped and comfortable and the great room was wonderful for spending time together with family. Plenty of space for 12 people to spread out! Where to even begin about Leslie's home! We had the absolute best time there. By far the best Airbnb me and my father had ever stayed in. Leslie and Sue her neighbor went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and at home.

The house is just 45 minutes outside of Bozeman and is in a great spot between mountains. The home is super clean, lots of natural light, and was really well decorated. The 2 dogs on the property were so friendly and fun to play with.

The farm is fantastic and the salad greens are a must try! Its a very authentic farm experience in Montana with 2 authentic people! I definitely recommend Leslie's place to anyone. I will be staying there again no doubt.

Cannot recommend this place more! This is a great place to unplug and stay with family and or friends or have a business retreat. Really enjoyed our stay and breakfast. This cabin is perfect for those who want to get away from it all and relax in the Montana mountains! It's about an hour from Bozeman, but you'll find the drive to be worth it! Leslie works hard to use her garden and other local ingredients to make an amazing breakfast for her guests!

She even stocks the fidge with some yummy beer and wine to use on a donation base if you forget to pick any up like we did! The kitchen is also stocked with staples for guest use, like Annie's Mac and cheese!

The cabin and the property is beautiful and Leslie is warm and inviting! Go check it out!! Leslie's kindness, generosity, and beautiful home made our trip to Montana a perfect and memorable one. She prepared a great advice packet for us, made sure that a crackling fire was there to greet us when we got home, and was all-around a pleasure to meet. The residence itself is a beautiful, spacious house with great amenities including a fully stocked kitchen if you wish to cook. The drive to Bozeman was super beautiful and a welcome trade-off for the natural seclusion of the venue.

We can't wait to come back! What a unique and marvelous experience it was staying at Leslie's Airbnb! Set in the rolling countryside of Montana and surrounded by mountains, her home is magnificently decorated. Very comfortable bed, very spacious. We ate wonderful organic vegetables right from the garden.

Leslie was extremely accommodating and sweet. This was a very relaxing and rejuvenating place to spend four days. After four days into a cross country drive, I ended up at Leslie's place and couldn't have had a better experience. The house is absolutely gorgeous and sparkling clean.

The food farm fresh eggs, homemade bread, quiche was all amazingly delicious. The location is somewhat off the normal track which meant beautiful scenery and peace and quiet. I brought my dog, who got to stretch his legs in the yard, and who played with the dogs there.

The weather didn't quite cooperate during my visit, but Leslie made a fire for me the last evening which added to the charm of my experience. She provided a list of local restaurants, hikes and other activities, along with descriptions, which was incredibly useful. Leslie and Sue are great hostesses and just truly lovely people. I remember when I was planning my cross country drive, I saw a listing for Leslie's place and would daydream about what it was like there. The reality exceeded my expectations.

I can't wait to come back! Immaculate place, relaxing atmosphere, and a very gracious and hospitable host. My stay exceeded my expectations in every respect. The home is full of character. It's comfortable, clean, safe, and in a beautiful location. The master bedroom is spacious and private, and with the windows open, there is the best cross-breeze. There are cozy blankets and pillows all around to really make it feel like home, and a comfortable chair overlooking the Crazies, suitable for the best afternoon naps.

The kitchen is well stocked, as are the bathroom facilities on the first floor. The grounds and scenery are also beautiful.

With the Bridgers to the west and the Crazies to the east, you can't beat the location. Her gardens are also beautiful, and it's relaxing to walk around the property. I also really fell in love with the dogs, Millie and Rita, as well.

Leslie was super kind and friendly, and although she works harder than most anyone I've met, she made time to check in to make sure I had everything I needed and to chat. I visit Montana fairly regularly, and this will be my default home base from this point on. I can't thank Leslie enough for making this trip so stress-free and enjoyable. I can't wait to return! Loved the cabin and the wonderful views from all sides.

We sat in the gazebo at the top of the hill and enjoyed the morning. Very well appointed with good use of small spaces. Comfortable holiday place for our family to relax. We loved this house. One of the most beautiful views from the front porch I have ever seen Hard to leave and the hosts are very friendly and helpful. What a great place! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the Seastrand's SkyArbor residence. Paul and Susan were great hosts, and called us several times to make sure we had everything we needed.

Our stay was remote, quiet and quaint - we felt like we were living in the mountains of Montana the entire time of our stay. Jack and Mae the resident property "pets" were a big hit with the family, and gave our stay that "little extra" that made our experience unique from other vacation trips. We - a family of 5 adults - have been travelling in the northwest of Canada and USA this summer. One stop was at the Mountain Home - and it was one of our best stays.

We just loved it - and changed our travel plans to stay an extra night. The house has the most wonderful location if you like nature, silence and the most amazing sun sets. We spent a lot of time at the porch wathcing the mountains - and Paul and Susan were very caring and helpful. They guided us with detailed road directions to the house and to nearby hiking trails.

And they called after a night with thunderstorms to be sure we were all right.
