We had a delicious lunch this week; the stone bass combined so well with the smoked bacon and the devilled kidneys were a delight. Just a shame that the service was slow; we spent half an hour longer than we should have done at the table. Visited on a monday night after in early April, spending time with family friends from Oz, we booked for eight of us, glad we did, it was even busy then.

Room was nice, quite small, but comfortable, overlooking farm, it was lovely watching the lambs. I did think it expensive for 1 night. But would go back, as interested in a meal there as it all looked nice.
